Udhayanidhi Stalin, the celebrated personality from the royal family is having a roll in the Tamil film industry. He started out as a producer with his first film being produced with his favourite actor Illaya thalapathi Vijay.
Though being heavily influenced by political affairs in the family, he has chosen to make a name for himself in the tamil film industry. He has been touted as a successful film producer churning films with good story line entertaining audience.
To the surprise of everyone he launched himself as a lead actor in the movie Oru Kal Oru Kannadi. The movie was a breezy romance story with comedy bits from the duo (Udhayanidhi and Santhanam).
The combination of a breezy romance entertainer with ample comedy was well received by the audience and was receiving rave reviews and became a commercial success.
Udhayanidhi Stalin being a very frank person added, “People like my movies for light hearted romance and good comedy skits. Therefore I prefer to stick on to this commercial formula and continue to make movies to entertain my fans”.
Not surprising, the actor is smart enough. His second movie has also been a runaway hit with Nayantara playing his lady interest and the Santhanam-Udhayanidhi duo having a go.
Can the actor pull it off again? We might just have to wait and see.
