Satyam case fast tracked

The Satyam scam trail will be heard on a daily basis from November as the SC has directed that the case be concluded on or before July 2011. After 19 months of Judicial custody and being granted bail on August 18 this year, Mr. Raju, along with the others accused appeared in the court of the 21st additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate in Nampally. To make the court proceedings visible to every one present, the court has granted permission to CBI to set up an LCD projector. Mr. K. Surender, CBI’s special public prosecutor for the case informed that the bureau has shortlisted around 368 witnesses and has over 3,200 documents. However, the CBI first wants to concentrate on the forgery of the banking documents for which they have solid evidence.
