Ever since the trailer of Krish and Balakrishna Nandamuri’s upcoming film ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’ was unveiled, everyone was wondering how Krish could wrap up a movie of such finess and scale in such short time.
It may be noted that the film’s entire shooting was wrapped up in less than four months. This is unprecedented for a historical film like GPS. While accolades are pouring in, some comments are also being heard saying that some visuals, color pattern and war scenes from GPS remind them of Bollywood filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s historical film ‘Bajirao Mastani’.
People say that as Krish has directed Bhansali’s production venture Gabbar is Back, the Tollywood filmmaker convinced his acclaimed Bollywood counterpart to let him use the visual brilliance in his film.
The makers of GPS, however, have ridiculed these reports as baseless rumors and said that all the aspects of GPS are original.
