After an unfortunate incident that happened in Mumbai where actress Shruti Hassan was attacked at her apartment by an unknown assailant, film industry is now turbulent with such atrocities on female artists. While stalking and harassing have always been a part of this tinsel town, such incidents when happen shake up the stars in question.
The same thing happened with Shruti Hassan. Though the lady battled bravely with her attacker with a good presence of mind, she later went numb with shock. Her mother Sarika was also miffed with what happened and expressed her angst. Sarika stated that though such incidents occur, one has to learn in life and move on with a better perspective and not be shattered.
While questioned about whether Shruti will now move in with her, Sarika said that when children grow up that old, they will rather be independent and self sustaining than seek protection from parents.
The assailant who was later identified as one Ashok Shankar Trimuk, a resident of Mumbai, was arrested and taken into custody.
