Cast and Performances:
Sapthagiri reprised the role of Arshad Warsi in the film. A lot of changes underwent while making the movie which resulted in a different characterisation of the protagonist in the film. Sapthagiri played his part well and tried to appear as a typical commercial hero doing all the dances, fights etc. His performance is also good in the movie. The new girl who made her debut as a heroine failed to impress in the movie. The other actors like Sai Kumar, Siva Prasad, Shakalaka Shankar have impressed in their parts. All the other actors are good and did well in the limited roles.
The writing is okay in the film. A lot of care could have been taken while making the changes. The gripping narration and emotional vibrancy are missing in this plot. The dialogues by Paruchuri Brothers are very good.
The film Sapthagiri LLB is the official remake of the Bollywood super hit movie Jolly LLB that has Arshad Warsi in the lead. The Bollywood film has become a hit because of the strong content in it but the makers have changed it for the Telugu audiences and have added an overdose of commercial elements. Sapthagiri also tried to establish himself in the industry as a commercial hero. Coming to the execution part, the makers are successful only in parts. The film actually doesn’t get the satire part properly and the movie just tries to manipulate it as a heroic tale to elevate Sapthagiri whenever possible. Sapthagiri could have drawn some inspirations from the films like Chettukinda Pleader which would have saved him and his film from getting failed.
