Karan Johar’s magnum opus “Shuddhi” has time and again been in news. While the project got delayed, shelved for some time, stars walked out of it too. Karan Johar put all speculations aside and said that he will make “Shuddhi” with a new cast.
After Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan walking out of the project, all were wondering who would play the lead. Answering those questions, Karan announced that he would be making the film with Salman Khan in the lead. Now if the lead is strong, there is an utmost need to have a really strong antagonist. And filling that space might be none other than Sanjay Dutt.
Shuddhi will be directed by Karan Malhotra, who marked his debut as a director with Karan Johar’s Agneepath. It is said to be a love story with reincarnation as its central theme. The female lead is not known yet.
After his brilliant Kancha Cheena in Angneepath, we quite like the dark side of Sanjay Dutt. So will he be able to create the brilliance yet again with Shuddhi? We are yet to find out. Presently Sanjay is serving a jail sentence.
