Director Sampath Nandi, whose latest flick ‘Bengal Tiger,’ is receiving appreciation for his hard work and confidence that he put in while directing the film. He entered into the big league with Ram Charan’s ‘Rachha,’ made ‘Galipatam’ starring Aadi as the hero. Though this film didn’t do well at the box-office, Sampath’s image didn’t saw a big damage.
Sampath, who almost made it for ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’, was finally replaced by Bobby. After the confusion over SGS got settled, Sampath started ‘Bengal Tiger’ starring Ravi Teja, Tamannaah and Raashi Khanna in the lead roles. K.K Radha Mohan produced this film.
Bengal Tiger’s triple platinum disc function was conducted yesterday in Hyderabad, and the whole team praised Sampath for his directorial skills. Heroine Tamannaah left him all praises and thanked him for showing her so beautifully in the songs.
In this event, it was revealed that Sampath Nandi not only directed the film but also turned as a lyricist in the film making process. The song ‘Asia Khandam Lo Nee Lanti Gunta Ledey…Andhra Veedhullo Mana Lanti Janta Lede’ was written by Sampath Nandi by himself.
Speaking about this Music director Bheems appreciated Sampath for writing down such meaningful lyrics. However, Sampath gave credit to Bheems for encouraging him to write such lyrics and giving wonderful music for it.
‘Bengal Tiger’ will roar in theatres from Dec 10th.
