Samantha Ruth Prabhu is busier than ever and not just that, she is looking for diversity in her roles too or so it would seem if you look at her new avatar in the highly anticipated Suriya starrer Anjaan.
Samantha is confidently sporting short shorts and fashionable tops in the posters and in the songs. The fans of the lovely starlet are just thrilled of course but many are curious.. Why the sudden change in appearance? After all, it is not like the gorgeous girl is lacking projects, calling out for a dramatic makeover!
Well, Samantha has an answer for you…
“I wanted to prove a point,” the glamour doll, “I wanted to show that I can be as confident in glamorous outfits as I am in the usual more traditional appearance I sport.”
And by God, prove her point she did, didn’t she?
The new Samantha has everyone talking and one gets the feeling, she has a lot to do with Anjaan’s tickets being sold out for the first day, soon after the pre booking opened up.
Will this new incarnation of the stunning diva be a permanent one? Will we be seeing a lot more of her sizzling the screens in such fashionable attire? Sadly… no!
Samantha says she will be back to her familiar self soon enough, with the rest of her projects. Well, there is not much grounds for disappointment now, is there?
Because whatever she chooses to wear, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is just a sight for sore eyes.
Anjaan releases in two days on August 15th, and the Telugu dubbed version Sikander will come out a few days later. The film has been directed and produced by N Lingusamy under the banner of Thiruppathi Brothers, in association with UTV Motion Pictures.
