The Ghanta Awards are a desi version of Hollywood’s Razzies, The Ghanta Awards has started two years back to celebrates and recognizes the worst in Bollywood. The Ghanta Awards ceremony was held at the Comedy Store in Mumbai on Saturday.
Bollywood actor Salman Khan has bagged worst actor of the year title at this year’s Ghanta Awards for his performance in his recently released Bodyguard and Ready movies.King Khan Shahrukh Khan’s Ra.One won the worst film of the year award.Director of Ready and Bodyguard, Anees Bazmee, was awarded the worst director of the year and Nargis Fakhri won the Worst Breakthrough Ghanta for "Rockstar".
The nominees were decided by jury panel and the winners were decided by people via an online poll.
