Salman Khan turned as a producer for a movie titled as ‘Loveratri’ which is marking the debut of his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain. However, the title of the film made them land in a trouble.
As the title is similar to the Hindu festival Navratri, so many Hindus protested against the title. Vishwa Hindu Parishad also filed a petition against the movie in Bihar court claiming that the title is hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus. So, Salman Khan has now changed the title to ‘Loveyatri’. “This is not a spelling mistake… #loveyatri #lovetakesover…” Tweeted Salman by attaching a poster of the film with the tagline ‘A Journey of Love’.
Abhiraj Minawala is helming the project. Initially, they kept the title as ‘Loveratri’ as the leads fall in love over the nine-day Navratri festival. The film is now titled as ‘Loveyatri’. Set in Gujarat backdrop, the film is slated to hit the screens on October 5.
