The Maharashtra State Women’s Commission (MSWC) issued summons to Salman Khan for the third and final time to appear before it regarding his insensitive remark on rape.
Salman has been summoned to appear before the commission on 14th July. Salman was earlier asked to appear before MSWC on July 7, which is the date of Eid. The Chairperson of MSWC said that although the actor could not turn up on 7th due to festival celebrations, he could at least have sent a representative or responded to the summon in some way.
Lawyer Abha Singh added, “If Salman ignores our summons, this time, considering it as willful disobedience of summons, a non-bailable warrant will be issued following a bailable warrant. The women’s commission has the powers of a civil court to enforce witnesses to respond to the summons.”
The ‘Sultan’ star is in huge trouble this time.
