Mega Prince Varun Tej has established a unique identity for himself within a short span of time, with his story selection and acting abilities. Sekhar Kammula is known for making clean entertainers that attract young adults as well as family audiences. The two of them will now be working with noted producer Dil Raju along with Premam fame Sai Pallavi as the leading actress for their upcoming movie. Marthand K Venkatesh is the editor, and Vijay Kumar is the cinematographer for the movie.
Dil Raju said ” Sekhar Kammula is a wonderful narrator and Varun has already established a name for himself. I am happy to announce a project with them”. It is a soft romantic love story which revolves around an NRI who falls in love with a girl from Telangana. The film will start rolling from July 25th. By the end of August, the Telangana scenes in the movie will be wrapped up. Shooting will go in the USA in October, and the total shoot will be wrapped up in that schedule. The movie is going to be readied for a release in December, said producer Dil Raju.
Having won accolades for a role as Malar in Malayalam film Premam, Sai Pallavi is all set to make her debut in Telugu cinema. It would be interesting to see if Pallavi makes a mark in the Telugu industry like she did in Malayalam industry with Premam. Meanwhile, Madonna Sebastian will be introduced in the Premam remake, and Anupama Parameshwaran has become a familiar face among Telugu audiences, after her role in A..Aa. And, here comes Sai Pallavi now.
Looks like, Tollywood is in Premam hangover more than the Mollywood.
