Srinivas Reddy is one of the filmmakers in Tollywood who made small budgeted flicks. It is Nagarjuna Akkineni who gave him an opportunity to work with him and it resulted in the movie called Damarukam. After the failure of the movie, Nagarjuna promised the director another chance with the trust he had on the director. The actor asked the director to come up with an interesting script that suits Naga Chaitanya.
The director immediately approached the noted writer Akula Siva and readied an interesting subject which was formally launched. Due to some financial issues, the film never happened. Akula Siva, who was irked of waiting immediately took the subject to Vinayak and then Sai Dharam Tej which is now being made as Dharam Bhai in the production of CK Entertainments.
Sai Dharam’s next film in Vinayak’s direction was supposed to be Chay’s but very few in the industry know this fact.
