Sachiin Joshi who marked his Telugu debut with ‘Mounamelanoyi’ in the year 2002 tested his luck with a bunch of films like ‘Ninu Choodaka Nenundalenu’, ‘Orey Pandu’, ‘Nee Jathaga Nenundali’ etc but failed to get a proper hit.
Now, the actor is all set to come up with another film, ‘Amavasya’ which is slated to get released in 2019. ‘Amavasya’ is the Telugu version of Hindi flick, ‘Amavas’ directed by Bhushan Patel of ‘1920- A Love Story’ and ‘Ragini MMS 2’ fame. Sachiin is pretty confident that this movie is going to be as scary and will score big at the box office. Sachiin will be seen as Karan, a businessman in the film. He is not only playing the lead but is also producing the film. Talking about the VFX of the film, Sachiin Joshi said, they haven’t compromised anywhere about the production quality.
Most of the film was shot in London. “I am happy to be back to Hyderabad. This place has given me life. I insisted the director to make this film in Telugu as well. I am happy to be part of this film. This is an out and out spine-chilling horror thriller. ” added Sachiin.
