Income Tax Officials were recently raided on actor-politician Chiranjeevi’s elder daughter Sushmitha’s residence at poes garden in Chennai.The IT officials were found Rs. 35 crore in that house.
The Income Tax department raided the house on Friday and Saturday. Yesterday, the IT officials confirmed that "Cash was found neatly packed in 35 carton boxes with each containing Rs. 1 crore in denominations of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000." The IT officials also found some important documents worth of Rs 4 Crores.
The money has been handed over to the Reserve Bank of India.
