With so many remakes up his sleeve, Rohit Shetty has another one to consider. And it is a classic blockbustering hit, Ram Lakhan in talks now. The ace director has been roped in as director to direct the Karan Johar and Mukta Arts’ remake of Ram Lakhan.
“Here’s the big announcement! Rohit Shetty & Karan Johar, in association with Mukta Arts, present RAM LAKHAN in 2016,” read a tweet upon the official handle of Karan’s Dharma Productions. And ever since then, who will reprise the role is being in talks.
While the original cast was of Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Madhuri Dixit, Dimple Kapadia and Raakhee, we are seriously wondering about the new one. There are so many names being speculated and considered and even suggested that should be seen in the roles of Ram and Lakhan. Some say Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra, some suggest Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, some even said Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan. And this has even got us thinking!
Who will be Ram and who will be Lakhan, that only time will tell. But till then, we can just wait for the makers to make official announcements.
