Former actress Renu Desai is living in Pune after getting separated from her ex-husband Pawan Kalyan. Without wasting any time, Renu started making films in Marathi as a producer and director. Till now, she produced the film Mangalashtak Once More and directed Ishq Wala Love.
Recently, she planned to make her acting comeback with a Telugu film bust finally decided to step back and focus on the behind the camera works. Currently, Renu is preparing the script on the agrarian issues faced by farmers in the Telugu states. The shoot of this film will go on floors in January 2020.
The actress was in Hyderabad the other day to attend a handloom-based event on the occasion of National Handloom Day. Speaking at the event, Renu said that she is also planning to make a movie on handloom weavers and she will soon write a script on it after researching with the weavers of the Telugu state. On the whole, Renu is trying to make films on social issues rather than sticking to the mainstream cinema.
