Reliance to give 1,600 mw of power to AP

Reliance has agreed to supply 1,600 mw of power to AP following a complaint to the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission by Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra charging Reliance with reducing power allotments to the states.

Earlier, Reliance had informed that it could supply only 3,740 mw of power to the four states from the Krishnapatnam Ultra Mega Power Project near Nellore. Now, Reliance has consented to supply 4,000 mw of power to these four states and with this, AP would be getting around 1,600 mw of power.
