Young Rebel Star Prabhas and Tamanna starrer Rebel was released recently and the movie turned an average movie at box-office, now the movie is running in theatres.Now the latest news is that the producers of this film J Bhagavan and Pulla Rao are filed a complaint against the movie’s director Raghava Lawrence at Producers Council.
As per the sources producers, J Bhagavan and Pullarao filed a complaint stating that Lawrence escalated the Rebel movie budget from Rs 22.5 Crores to Rs 40 Crores.They said that Lawrence agreed to hand over them the film’s first copy at the cost of Rs 22.5 Crores but he went on to increasing the budget and wrapped up it at Rs 40 Crores.
Meanwhile, Lawrence also lodged a complaint against the producers.In his complaint Lawrence said that "The producers have reportedly promised me to give the dubbing rights of the film. Now they sold out the dubbing and remake rights of the film without informing to me".
Now the Producers Council and director’s Association will look into the issues filed by the producer and director respectively.
