After the widespread of the MeToo movement in the film industry, a lot of people have openly come forward to certify that the film industry is going to be a safe place with a lot of internal committees being formed for understanding the problems of women. But, still, on a parallel note, the atrocities against women are not going to end anytime soon and here is a story of a lady who has been a victim in one such case because of a Kannada actor Kiran Mahadev.
Going more into the details, Gnana Bharathi filed a complaint against Kiran Mahadev with whom she acted in the film Goolihatti. She alleged that he tried to molest and rape her. Kiran was introduced to her via Facebook as a Dance master. After luring her with film offers, he is said to have attempted to rape her multiple times as Ullala Upanagar Studio.
Kiran is said to have reportedly threatened her of defamation if she tries to reveal the same in public. Kiran Mahadev is currently absconding and the cops are in search of him.
