Young hero Daggubati Rana’ who debuted in Tollywood with the Leader movie is also debuting into Bollywood with the movie titled "Dum Maro Dum", which is being directed by Rohan Sippy. Apart from this movie Rana is laso acting in his second film "Nenu Naa Rakshasi" under Puri Jagannadh direction with Ileana in the female lead role.
Rana is playing the role of Goan rock musician (Joki) in Dum Maro Dum and Rana wants to get rid of his Hyderabadi accent and learn Goan Hindi to fit into the role.
The story line of this movie is, it revolves around the lives of six Indians who meet in Goa, and how their lives change forever once involved in drug mafias. The film starring Abhishek Bachchan, Bipasha Basu and Prateik Babbar is releasing on April 22.
Rana said that "I had to get rid of my Hyderabadi Hindi and learn Goan Hindi. It wasn’t easy because the two kinds of Hindis were mutually incompatible. I had to unlearn one kind of Hindi and then learn a new kind. Since I was brought up in Chennai, I speak fluent Tamil and Telugu. I am confused about which language to sing in,"
Now Rana is very busy on travelling between Mumbai to Hyderabad, because he is going to Mumbai to promote Dum Maaro Dum and then rushing back to Hyderabad for his new Telugu film Nenu Na Rakshasi, which will hit the screens soon.
