Recently Daggubati Rana was debuted in Tollywood with the film Dum Maaro Dum, soon after the release he got another offer in Bollywood. Rana is going to act in Ram Gopal Varma’s next Hindi flick titled "Department", in this film he is going to play the main lead role. Earlier for this role Abhishek Bachchan was roped, now Abhishek Bachchan replaced by Rana. In Department Rana is going to share screen with Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who will play the lead role of a gangster turned politician.
RGV tweeted that "Due to date problems to match combinations with other actors I am going ahead with Rana Daggubati instead of Abhishek Bachchan in Department,". Rana was acted with Abhishek Bachhan in Dum Maaro Dum, but Rana didn’t get the good response for his role in that film and the movie also got the below average talk from the audience.
Daggubatai Rana’s second Telugu film "Nenu Naa Rakshai" is all set to hit the screens on April 29th. Ileana played the female lead role in that film. After this film Rana is going to pair up with Genelia for the film titled "Naa Istham" in Telugu.
