Daggubati Hero Rana, who injured his knees while shooting of his upcoming Hindi film Department is fit now and is all set to return to the sets of the film. He is already left for Mumbai. In this film Rana is sharing the screen with Bollywood big stars like Amithab Bachchan and Sanjay Dutt. In this flick Rana will be portraying the role of a cop.
The news is that Department is based on Maharashtra’s industries minister, Narayana Ranne’s life. Kangana Ranaut and Lakshmi Manchu will be seen in important roles in this film. The story revolves around two police officers who try to oppose the extra-constitutional actions of a politician.
This is Rana’s second film in Hindi, earlier he acted in the film "Dum Maro Dum", which is a flop movie. Now he is acting in Department and it is being directed by Ramgopal Varma. Rana’s current project in Telugu “ Naa Ishtam” is almost in the final stage.
