The first phase of elections has been done yesterday in the country. Both the Telugu states Telangana and Andhra Pradesh were done with the elections on the first day itself. Many citizens across both the states, have cast their vote and did their part for the formation of a better society.
But, many people were also left distraught by finding that their names missing in the voters’ list. One of them was Shobana Kamineni who is the mother of star hero Ram Charan’s wife, Upasana Kamineni. She checked the list a few days back and her name was there back then but was missing this morning.

Upasana, took the social media, to express her anger on the negligence of the Election Commission. “My mom @shobanakamineni wasn’t able to vote today. She checked 10 days ago and her name was on the list ! Now it’s deleted !! She pays Tax !doesn’t she count ? Isn’t she valued as an Indian citizen ?,” she tweeted.
