As we are taken on the ride with the characters, the film plays with your mind and offers genuine surprises and excitement not seen once the main story comes into focus. The catch, it turns out, two of the seven contestants are unknowingly related to the consequences happening over here.
Major asset of the film is the humorous content. Credit should completely goes to Shankar and Dhanraj for their hilarious roles. Both these comedians generate superb comedy in the first half. Shankar evokes superb laughs with his accent and satires, while Dhanraj is superb as the village buff Shivudu.
Ashwin (Ohmkar’s brother) looks alright in his role and so was Dhanya Balakrishna. Chetan Cheenu got a performance oriented role and dis his best. First half of the film is a laugh riot and has some hilarious comedy episodes.
Second half is a complete shift of first half. It gets more interesting in the second half while few thrilling scenes were included. Some thrills and spooky moments have been handled well. Vidyu Raman is pretty good and showcases good comedy alongside Dhanraj and Shankar.
After setting up a superb first half, second half got slowed down a bit. It is not that the film is bad during this time but the audience are so eager to find out what is actually this Raju Gari Gadhi, the proceedings are deviated and wrapped up in a simple way.
Director Ohmkar should have taken care to reveal the facts behind the Raju Gari Gadhi. However, he takes the film in a complete different direction and makes it serious. Certain characters and were left without notice.
Saptagiri’s character does not work out well. Instead, it makes the film silly and deviates the attention.
Raju Gari Gadhi is a complete entertainer with all the needed thrilling elements that can be given a watch this weekend.
