Earlier we heard that south super star Rajnikanth’s upcoming film Rana has been shelved due to the actor’s ill health. But the movie director Ravi Kumar stated that movie has not been shelved, only the shoot is just postponed temporarily and the regular shooting of the movie will starts in the month of July. Deepika Padukone is playing the female lead role opposite to Rajnikanth and Rajni will be seen in a triple role in this flick.
The director also said that Rajini’s ill-health might have caused a minor glitch initially in the shooting plans but the actor was certain to recover. "Moreover we have Deepika’s dates only from post July," he said.Rana is also Rajini Sir’s dream project and his brain-child and hence he is very much keen on completing it successfully.
Doctors also said that "There is good improvement in Rajni’s body condition; he is now on his way to a speedy recovery”
We hope soon Rajni will be back on to the sets of Rana with good health. The movie will be released in 2012.
