South Super star Rajnikanth, and his family members went to Tirumala to offer the prayers to Lord Balaji on Wednesday. Tollywood actor Mohan Babu made foolproof arrangements for the family’s visit to Tirumala.
Rajini visited Tirumala to offer Thulabaram, the superstar weighed himself with Kalakund (sweet) inside the temple as part of the rituals. His weight was recorded as 75 Kilograms.
Mr Rajnikanth, accompanied by Mr Mohan Babu reached the Mahadwaram point of the Tirumala temple, and checked inside through a separate gate usually used by TTD staff. The entourage, consisting of about 10 members, included Rajni’s wife Latha, daughters Aishwarya, Soundarya, sons-in-laws Ashwin and Danush, and entered the temple through the Vaikuntam queue complex.They spent about 30 minutes inside the temple.
As per the reports Rajnikanth visited the Temple to pay his thanks to the Lord for his speedy recovery from the ailments he suffered in May.
Later interacting with the media outside the temple Rajinikanth said: “I am thankful to all my fans who have prayed for me when I was undergoing the treatment. By God’s grace, I am well and recovered now and took part in the shoot for Ra-One. My doctor have advised me to take an another 3 months of rest before I resume shooting for Rana. This is my family’s thanksgiving visit to the Lord Balaji. Wish you all a happy Diwali.”
