Superstar Rajinikanth’s 2.0 is all set to release in China. Normally, Indian films are well received by the Chinese audiences and thus, the makers wanted to try their luck over there. Already, the makers Lyca Productions have been promoting the film in China very extensively.
The Chinese version of the film is titled as ‘Bollywood Robot 2.0- Resurgence.’ The makers are promoting in in the name of Bollywood. Though released amidst huge expectations in India, 2.0 failed to reach those expectations and ended up as an average venture.
In fact, the film has incurred losses to the buyers in a few areas. Films like Dangal and Secret Superstar struck gold at the Chinese box office. We have to see how this Rajini’s sci-fi thriller would perform there. It will hit the theatres in China mostly this summer.
