Radha Krishna (Sharwanand) is a funny guy who loves to be a police man and gets a job as one finally in Barsanapalle. He is transferred to Hyderabad after that. He loves to go to any extent just to serve the police department and comes across Sujatha (Ravi Kishan) who is a dreaded criminal and who is trying and planning to become Chief minister of the state and to use the power in his favour. Being a normal police man how Radha Krishna successfully stops Sujatha forms rest of the story.

Cast and performance

Sharwanand is simply amazing as Radha Krishna and his energy levels are superb and has a perfect comedy timing. He is at so ease with his performance and made his role even more better. He is back as in the form as usual as in Run Raja Run. Lavanya Tripathi is beautiful and is good at expressions for her role. Aksha is good as Rukmini. Shakalaka Shankar, Saptagiri are good in comedy sequences. Ravi Kishan is as usuals as antagonist and nothing new to watch out for. Thanikella Bharani, Pragathi, Kota Sreenivasa Rao and all other actors are good to the extent of their roles.

Writing department

A still from Radha

Story of Radha has nothing new in terms of content to excite about. Screenplay is mediocre and predictable. Dialogues are okay.

Technical departments

Songs composed by Radhan are good to hear and and his background is also good which helps the movie to go next level at times. Cinematography by Karthik Ghattamaneni is nice and he showcased some eye delight visuals. Editing by Madhu is just okay and he could have done a better job in cutting the film. Stunts and action sequences are composed well. Production values are apt and rich.

Verdict
Radha is the film of Radha Krishna and Radha and their relationship. Story of the film has nothing new in terms of content to rave or excite about. Sharwanand who is making noise with successful films has now disappointed with his choice of Radha when compared with his previous films. Radha Krishna’s character is given life by hero Sharwanand and his energy levels for the character is appreciable. He is turning into a better actor day by day and his choice for this movie might disappoint but not his acting capabilities for the roles he choose. Makers could have taken better care in penning a better and interesting script to match the level of expectations. Except for few comedy sequences there is nothing in the movie to watch out for. Director Chandra Mohan who is debuting as director has dealt with the movie in unimpressive way and he failed to use Sharwanand to make this Radha a successful one. Considering the short run time of the movie, this movie seemed boring and in fact some comedy sequences are well conceived to tickle audience. To sum up, Radha is a disappointing film from Sharwanand.
