Nithin’s next film as a romantic hero directed by Puri Jagannath, Heart Attack, cleared censors yesterday with surprising rating. The film was given an A by the board, shocking the young hero and the rest of the crew. Nithin expressed while speaking to a leading newspaper daily that this could have been an outcome of a singular kissing scene between him and Adah Sharma in the movie. However, he stated that it was a vital aspect to the story of the movie around which the entire plot revolves.
Nithin expressed that censors these days have a mind of their own. Interestingly, the tag line of the title also suggests something provocative about a kiss – “I need a one hour kiss to burn 3000 calories”. This could have been another catalyst making the board come to an A conclusion for the rating. The film is supposed to be a breezy romantic entertainer, which the families can also watch and enjoy, he added.
The first look promos of the film look attractive and catchy. Puri Jagannath has directed and produced the movie and the music has been composed by Anoop Ruebens. It remains to be seen as to how this rating affects the performance at Box office as we are still tabood with an A tag on movies in Telugu. Puri has not made any statement yet to this effect and his plans about debating the given rating, if any.
