Buzz in film circles is that senior hero Venkatesh has green signaled to act in the direction of crazy director Puri Jagannath.
Post NTR starrer Temper; Puri is yet to score a hit. As he has delivered dud after dud, Mahesh Babu and NTR Jr, who earlier promised to work with him, have reportedly averted their plans. Not just these top heroes, no young hero is showing eagerness to work with Puri given his recent track record. It was even reported that Puri was planning to work with newcomers.
However, Puri has recently met Venky and floored him with an action subject. Venky, who is doing experimental films these days, has given his consent. After the success of ‘Babu Bangaram’, Venky is currently waiting for the release of ‘Guru’. Next, he will do a film with Nenu Sailaja fame Kishore Tirumala. An announcement on Puri’s film is expected in due time.
