Producers in financial crisis post riots

It is needless to say that the protests being waged against and for the State divide are affecting the fate of all big budget films. Thoofan, which released with great difficulty, suffered a severe blow with the decision taken as riots have hampered the movie openings to a great extent. Looking at this, the other film makers are highly reluctant to release their films that are lined up any sooner. Same is the case with Pawan Kalyan’s much anticipated Attarintiki Daredi. The producer, BVSN Prasad, is apparently paying high interest to the financing of the film and will have a big downfall if the film does not release on time – most importantly if it does not ring in the profits. The producer wanted to initially put in the profits raked in through AD into much awaited magum opus Bahhubali, but it seems the plan will now go topsy turvy with unpredictable political situation. This forms just one example of the many investors who have their money stuck in these huge projects. What will be the outcome of this risk taken? Only time will tell.
