C.Kalyan, who is the President of the producer’s council, stated in his letter that Baahubali is the pride of India. Though this film was made in Telugu, it was received largely in many other languages. With standing as one of the greatest film in Indian cinema, Baahubali was considered as a film with Hollywood standards. Such film not being performed on a big stage makes all Telugu Filmmakers insulted, wrote Kalyan to Jaitley.

‘Baahubali- The beginning’ is directed by S.S.Rajamouli and was produced by Arka Media on a huge scale of RS 250 CR. This film has collected over Rs 650 Cr and stood as one of the highest grosser in Indian Cinema.

Centre showing a small eye over Telugu films isn’t any first time. The Jury has many times shown its partiality towards the Hindi cinema more often than over South Cinema, especially on Telugu Cinema. ‘Srimanthudu’ that stood as the second highest collector of Tollywood, also has a great appealing content in the film, this too was rejected by the Goa Film Festival Jury.
