Tamil producer Kannan lodged a complaint against popular comedian Vadivelu alleging that the actor’s supporters had assaulted his family members and threatened them with dire consequences for inviting actor Singamuthu for his son’s birthday. Comedian Vadivelu had issues relating to properties with Singamuthu and he filed a complaint also on Singamuthu for cheating him.
Singamuthu was invited by producer Kannan for his son’s first birthday. The producer was residing opposite actor Vadivelu’s house at Saligramam. Later, Vadivelu’s supporters had allegedly assaulted Kannan’s family members for inviting Singamuthu and even threaten them with dire consequences. Kannan had lodged a complaint with the Virugambakkam police stating that Vadivelu instigated the attack. The police on Sunday secured three people Nedumaran, Dineshan and Raja in connection with the case.
