Tollywood producer Sompally Jayadev, died of advanced cancer at his house on yesterday (March 13th, 2011) night at 11.15PM in Hyderabad. He produced many movies in Tollywood and also in Sandalwood. He is 56 and his native place is Nellore.
He earlier produced movie like Sontham with Aryan Rajesh, Jagadam with Hero Ram and Arya-2 with Allu Arjun. His son Adithya Babu debuted as hero in a Kannada movie titled Anthu Inthu Preeti Banthu, directed by Veera Shankar. He also acted in Tollywood film titled "Chalaki", the movie was bombed at box ofice. Many of them know his son Adithya Babu, who involved in Arya-2 movie production and many of them, knows him as young producer in Tollywood.
Several film personalities from Tollywood and Sandalwood paid their last respects to this great producer.
