Tamil director-producer Lingusamy has reportedly complained to the producers’ council against actor Simbu alleging that the young hero hasn’t returned the advance amount he had paid for a project.
Some time ago, Lingusamy wanted to make a film with Simbu and paid him Rs 1 Cr advance. Later, somehow the project didn’t materialize, and the advance amount has been with Simbu all this while. When the filmmaker asked the actor to return the amount, Simbu has reportedly told him to make a film with him as per the earlier commitment or he wouldn’t return the amount.
Even Simbu’s father Rajender refused to interfere in this. With no other option left, Lingusamy has reportedly approached the producers’ council. Interestingly, this issue has reached the council when the actor’s latest film was hitting screens on 11th Nov, today.
