Priya Prakash Varrier, who created a sensation all over the country with her wink act, has become a star overnight. She got an immense following on social media and the film, Oru Adaar Love in which she performed the act, became an anticipated film in the entire nation.
To cash in the craze, the makers have released the film yesterday in Tamil and Telugu as well, apart from the original Malayalam version. But it turned out to be a lousy boring treat for the audience, who went to the theaters, after the heavy hype created by the makers.
Priya, who was on cloud nine since last one year, has fallen on to the ground in a second. Her performance was bashed by the critics all over. The theatres which had decent occupancy in the morning turned empty by evening shows. Now, she is hoping to score a hit with her Bollywood debut film, Sridevi Bungalow.
