After acting in big Tollywood films like Attarintiki Daredhi, Rabhasa and Brahmotsavam, Kannada beauty Pranitha Subhash became a popular actress in Telugu.
The beautiful actress is now being trolled on social media after she declared support to the Telugu Warriors team in the new Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) edition.In the previous editions, she supported the Karnataka team and her shifting loyalties to the Telugu team did not go well with few hardcore Kannada fans. She started getting abusive messages calling her traitor.
Pranitha finally gave a sensible clarification, “I have been doing several Telugu films of late, which is perhaps why the Telugu team approached me. And I was happy to be a part of that team. After the first press meet, people started trolling me online and said things like, ‘I hate you now, how could you do this?’ There were some really rude comments. At first, I thought that I would reply to one or two people, but there were several of them. People think that we can choose which team we want to be a part of, but that’s not how it works.The truth is that I haven’t done that. If I had a chance, I would support all teams equally since everyone is deserving and all of it is about cinema.”
