The divorce petition filed by actor-producer Prakash Raj took a twist when his wife agreed for a divorce on mutual consent. The former actress Lalitha Kumari, wife of Prakash Raj, had earlier sought restitution of conjugal rights and had been contesting the divorce. Several rounds of counseling to patch up the strained relationship between the couple turned futile.
Both the parties have now reached a settlement with Prakash Raj agreeing to pay a sum towards Lalitha Kumari for maintenance. However, the concerned advocates of Prakash Raj and Lalitha Kumari failed to give the exact details on this.
It is worth mentioning here that Lalitha Kumari had sought maintenance for herself and two daughters. With this being taken care of now, the divorce is heading towards a mutual consent.
