Actor Prakash Raj is now making his debut as director in Telugu with the film titled "Dhoni".The film Dhoni is a bilingual and it is also releasing in Tamil with the same title. Apart from acting and directing in this film he is also producing the film in Telugu and Tamil on Duet Movies banner. Earlier Prakash Raj was directed a film in Kannada, which is a remake of Akaasamantha, but now he is debuting as director in Tamil/Telugu.
The film has recently completed the shooting part and presently the movie post-production works are on progress.The film Dhoni is being made on current education system.The film is about a middle class father who expects his son to excel in studies while the son wants to be a cricketer,like MS Dhoni.
Prakash Raj, Aakash (Puri Jagannadh’s son),Thalaivaasal Vijay, Radhika Apte, Prabhu Deva and Mugdha Godse are playing the main lead roles in the film.Maestro Ilayaraja has scored the music for this film.
Dhoni audio will be launched on January 25th while the movie will be released in the second week of February!!
