Prakash Raj has filed a complaint against PostCard News alleging that the online portal had published articles defaming him. The Cubbon Park police registered his complaint under the IT Act.
Prakash Raj stated that the portal had published defamatory articles on him on at least four occasions, including once after the murder of Gowri Lankesh.
On March 29, the portal’s co-founder Mahesh Vikram Hegde was arrested by the CCB on the charges of spreading the fake and communally sensitive news.
