Noted actor Pradeep Shakthi, who acted in numerous Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam films, has passed away last night in the USA.
The veteran actor is popular for his roles in Mani Ratnam’s Nayakudu and creative director Vamsi’s cult classic comedies like Ladies Tailor, April 1 Vidudula, etc. Pradeep Shakthi last seen on silver screen in Sai Dharam Tej starrer ‘Subramanyam For Sale’.
He also directed a film titled Kaliyuga Viswamitra. Pradeep Shakthi had moved to the US in 1993 and started Indian restaurants there. His business was quite successful.
His native village is Lakshmipuram in Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh. He is said to have succumbed to heart attack.
