The period stories are slowly getting attention in the Telugu film industry. The new-age filmmakers are competing among themselves in presenting stories that are having a period backdrop. Rangasthalam tells a story that took place in 1980 while Mahanati told the story of Savitri that happened decades ago. Now, Prabhas is also coming up with something along the same lines.
Prabhas’ next movie is confirmed with director Radha Krishna Kumar. The film will be produced under Gopi Krishna Productions headed by Krishnam Raju. The movie is said to be a romantic entertainer that takes place in 1970. Major portions of the film’s shoot will take place in Europe. The shoot will begin from August this year.
Pooja Hegde is the leading lady of the movie. Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy trio will compose the music for the movie.
