Popular singer Vani Jayaram is one of the versatile and veteran singers in South film industry. We have come to know that her husband Jayaraj breathed his last in Chennai on Monday. Vani who hails from Velur district crooned a lot of songs in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and other languages.
Kalaivani is her original name which she changed to Vani after her wedding. Both of them got settled in Mumbai after the wedding and later shifted back to Chennai. Jayaram has been suffering from some age-related health issues. He was admitted in the hospital as well but finally breathed his last.
Vani usually tells that her husband has given immense support in her career and always expressed gratitude to him. May his soul rest in peace.
