Malayalam singer Manjusha Mohandas shot to fame with Idea Star Singer in Asianet. She met with a fatal accident last week when a mini-van that came in wrong way collided with her bike and Manjusha was admitted to a private hospital. After being in critical condition for one week, Manjusha breathed her last yesterday on 2nd August.
Manjusha was studying in her second year of MA in Performing Arts at the Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit in Kalady. She participated in Idea Star Singer broadcasted by Asianet in 2009. She was one of the most popular singers among the audience. She got married at that time and her wedding video went viral on social media. She is survived by her husband Priyadarshan and a daughter.
