MAA association wanted to have an own building but since years, the dream has been on a pending mode. Finally, they cooked up a strategy by raising funds for the construction of the building. Already, an event with Mega Star Chiranjeevi as a chief guest was held and there was another event planned with Super Star Mahesh Babu as a chief guest.
The event with Mahesh was named, ‘An Evening With Superstar’ and was supposed to be held on 27th of this month at Marriot Marquis, in New York, USA. Unfortunately, it has been cancelled owing to unenthusiastic response.
The inside news for cancelling the event was the poor response for the event. Initially,, the ticket price was $2,000 but it was reduced to $1,250 and then again reduced to $450. Still, no one showed the interest and it resulted in the organizers to cancel the event.
On the film front, Mahesh Babu is busy shooting for Maharshi in the USA right now.
