A few days back it was reported that heroine Pooja Hegde has walked out of Harish Shankar’s upcoming film Valmiki, due to remuneration issues. It was stated that Pooja was not satisfied with the budget quoted by the makers and eventually turned down the offer and walked out of it.
But director Harish Shankar denied the news at that time. The other day, he announced on Twitter that the pre-teaser of Valmiki will be out soon. In that post, he tagged Varun Tej, DOP Ayananka Bose and also Pooja Hegde. This proves that the heroine is still part of the project.
Pooja will be playing a small yet key role in the film. She is playing the love interest of Varun in the film and will be seen in the flashback episode. Valmiki is an official remake of 2014 Tamil film Jigarthanda. It is slated to release by the end of this year.
