Kollywood actor Dhanush and Sruthi starrer film 3 was released recently and the movie turned flop at box-office, but the song "Why This Kolaveri Di" in the movie has become a popular throughout the world. The song went on viral on Youtube and the Web.
Now the latest news is that Mr Madaswamy, a postal assistant working at Peermede in Idukki, has filed a PIL in the Kerala High Court claims it is "badly influencing minds of young children" and has sought a direction to prohibit screenings of the song sung by actor Dhanush.
He also said that "such violent lyrics" increase aggression related thoughts and emotions. He cited a new study published by the America Psychological Association that relates song lyrics to violent behaviour.He also said that boys were using the song to tease the girls and he claimed that to stop the screening of the song.
