The demand of Vijay Devarakonda following the success of ‘Pelli Choopulu’ has once again proved that film fraternity runs only after success.
Vijay made his debut with Nani starrer ‘Yevade Subramanyam’. For that movie, he was paid Rs 6 lakh remuneration. He got the same pay for ‘Pelli Choopulu’. He pocketed Rs 20 lakhs for ‘Dwaraka’ and ‘Arjun Reddy’, which were signed before the release of Pelli Choopulu. The success of this romantic comedy is so impactful that a reputed production house like UV Creations has reportedly paid him a whopping Rs 80 lakh to sign a horror comedy.
It is heard that Vijay has decided to hike his remuneration to Rs 1.5 Cr for the subsequent films that he will be signing in future. From Rs 6 lakh to Rs 1.5 Cr remuneration is truly a big leap and only film industry can offer such high rewards in such short time.
