Reportedly, a noted PR agency from Mumbai has been hired to promote the film in a never before heard manner in Tollywood. Both the makers and the fans of NTR are confident that Janatha Garage will shatter the records set by Srimanthudu. But, there is a problem with this kind of heavy publicity.
Sardaar Gabbar Singh and Brahmotsavam, which hit screens in this summer, had huge publicity but they ended up as disasters. Too much publicity will create sky-high expectations and even if the film turns out to be even average, it will not sustain under the bar of expectations.
After listening to the songs, it is believed that Janatha lags the mass elements that B,C center audiences desire from NTR’s films. What if JG becomes another Nannaku Prematho, is the doubt being expressed by few loyal fans of NTR?
